چکیده

We study the properties of two electrons with Coulomb interactions in a tight-binding model La-based cuprate superconductors. This is characterized by long-ranged hopping obtained previously advanced quantum chemistry computations. show analytically and numerically that repulsion leads to formation compact pairs propagating through whole system. The mechanism pair related emergence an effective narrow energy band for electron conserved total momentum. dependence probability on filling factor maximum around 20 (or 80) percent. comparison case nearest neighbor shows provides increase phase space volume high probability. conjecture discussed here may play role temperature superconductivity.

Pairing symmetry in cuprate superconductors

Pairing symmetry in the cuprate superconductors is an important and controversial topic. The recent development of phase-sensitive tests, combined with the refinement of several other symmetry-sensitive techniques, has for the most part settled this controversy in favor of predominantly d-wave symmetry for a number of optimally holeand electron-doped cuprates. This paper begins by reviewing the...

Kinetic energy driven pairing in cuprate superconductors.

Pairing occurs in conventional superconductors through a reduction of the electronic potential energy accompanied by an increase in kinetic energy. In the underdoped cuprates, optical experiments show that pairing is driven by a reduction of the electronic kinetic energy. Using the dynamical cluster approximation we study superconductivity in the two-dimensional Hubbard model. We find that pair...

d-wave pairing symmetry in cuprate superconductors

Phase-sensitive tests of pairing symmetry have provided strong evidence for predominantly d-wave pairing symmetry in both the holeand electron-doped high-Tc cuprate superconductors. Temperature dependent measurements in YBa2Cu3O7−δ (YBCO) indicate that the d-wave pairing dominates, with little if any imaginary component, at all temperatures from 0.5K through Tc. In this article we review some o...

Stability of the d-wave pairing with respect to the intersite Coulomb repulsion in cuprate superconductors

It is known that the real structure of CuO2 plane is characterized by the spatial separation of the subsystem of holes located at oxygen ions and the subsystem of spins localized at copper ions (Fig. 1). Besides, a number of features is caused by the presence of two oxygen ions in the unit cell of copper-oxygen plane. The minimal realistic microscopic model for cuprates is the three-band p− d m...

Evidence of doping-dependent pairing symmetry in cuprate superconductors.

Scanning tunneling spectroscopy studies reveal long-range spatial homogeneity and predominantly d(x(2)-y(2))-pairing spectral characteristics in under- and optimally doped YBa2Cu 3O (7-delta) superconductors, whereas STS on YBa2(Cu 0.9934Zn 0.0026Mg (0.004))3O (6.9) exhibits microscopic spatial modulations and strong scattering near the Zn or Mg impurity sites, together with global suppression ...
